Clinical Connections.
Clinical Connections is a student-led, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to making clinical research more accessible and understandable for patients and providers. Founded by a group of graduate students, medical students, residents, and postdoctoral trainees, we are united by a shared passion for improving science communication and patient care.
We provide free services that include personalized clinical trial matching for patients and providers, as well as the creation of clear, patient-friendly trial summaries. Our goal is to bridge the gap between research and care—empowering patients to make informed decisions and supporting providers in connecting their patients to meaningful clinical opportunities.

We assist physicians by identifying suitable clinical trials for their patients, helping to streamline the referral process and reduce administrative workload. In addition, we create patient-friendly trial summaries that physicians can use during consultations to support clear, effective communication about research opportunities.
We translate complex clinical trial protocols into clear, easy-to-understand summaries for patients. These documents can be used during recruitment or throughout the trial to enhance patient understanding, engagement, and retention.
